I leased my business, a small convenience store/gas station. There was a fuel spill, since stopped...however I know that I am 1/2 liable for EPA cleanup. Leasors have stopped paying lease. They say their atty suggested they not pay until fuel spill cleanup complete. Also want me to pay for 1/2 actual amount of fuel spilled before detection. This happened a month or so after they took over. Can I evict them for non payment? Can not find correct RCW or do not understand. Where would I find correct eviction notice if I am in the right? Would you suggest an attorney (my funds terribly limited). They were supposed to have financed to purchase my business by now. I''m still paying my mortgage. I need them to pay or quit. I am in Pend Oreille County. Thank you.
