I want to recover from a loss from a contractor for my swimming pool. The economic loss is $17,000. What I mean is the total contract price of the pool which is $43,000 has been fully paid plus I have to pay his subcontractors (total is $$17,000) to a void a mechanics lien on my property. What type of lawyer should I get. I also found out that the contractor is unlicensed and he used somebody else license number in our contract.
